Secure From Scams was created after our family experienced firsthand the devastating impact of romance fraud. What started as a seemingly innocent connection quickly unraveled into a web of manipulation, emotional abuse, and financial devastation. Watching someone we love spiral deeper into a scam opened our eyes to just how dangerous and convincing these schemes can be — and how isolating it feels to fight them.
We're not professionals. We're just a family that lived through it — and refused to let it break us. This site exists because no one should have to go through this alone.
